We took all the kids and their cousins (that would be 8 kids in all) along with Uncle David to SeaWorld of San Antonio. It was 103 degrees in the shade, but that did not stop us.
We began the day by feeding the dolphins which was really a thrill for all the kids as well as the grown-ups!
Next, we wandered through the shark and coral reef aquarium, got soaked from the Journey to Atlantis' giant splash, and visited the gift shops on our way to the "One Ocean" show with the Orca whales.

To say that we got wet at the Shamu show, would be a huge understatement. Now, granted, we did choose to sit in the "soak zone", but there was not an inch of dryness on any of us when we left the show -- and the water was ice cold and salty! The show was completely amazing:

... dipping wet |
After lunch, we checked out the other big show, Azul, which was a beautiful show with beluga whales, dolphins, divers and birds.
We ended the day at the Lost Lagoon water park -- wet and exhausted!
