Today I am thankful for the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country. It is an obvious choice for today, and it is shameful that I do not remember these heroes every day. My father was deployed to Vietnam when I was only a few weeks old. Every year at the Camp Hill Memorial Day parade I watch my father rise to salute the servicemen with tears in his eyes. I was too young to understand his sacrifice then, and still can't fathom it today. I am proud of him.
And I’m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I’m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
‘
Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.
Enjoy your Freedom!
