My Baby is going to Middle School ...

Wasn't this just yesterday??
Here she is on her first day of 5th grade.  Where has the time gone? Wasn't I just changing her diaper yesterday?  I know that it was last week that I was kissing her boo-boos and holding tightly onto her hand as she was crossing the street -- wasn't it?
She was an awesome soccer player in the fall -- she has since "retired", but it was fun to watch her play.  I cheered for her as she ran to score a goal the same way I cheered for her the first time she rolled over.
At her elementary school's Christmas concert ... last month she was just learning to plunk out "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on her Fisher Price xylophone -- right?
The first boyfriend -- don't even get me started!
11 ... arghhhh
Donating her hair for Locks of Love

10 inches of hair to be donated ... so proud

How beautiful you are inside and out!
The Elementary School's spring concert -- violin, clarinet and chorus -- a musical virtuoso!!  I can still hear her 2 year old rendition of the "ABC" song playing in my head!

More Philly
yep, more Philly

OK, so not only is she leaving elementary school, but she had the audacity to bridge from Junior Girl Scouts to Cadettes ... I swear it was only a few weeks ago that I was burning myself with the iron trying to get her Daisy petals attached to her tunic.
So, like it or not, my sweet, silly precious little girl is growing up into a lovely young woman.    I will never forget the feeling of her snuggling against me, her face all sticky from nursing and her breath so sweet, but I am looking forward to adding new memories as she continues to grow. I am so proud of her and I can't wait to be her biggest supporter as she navigates the halls of middle school come September.
