As Seen on the Food Network ...

We  took the morning off from the beach today to do a "As seen on Food Network" tour.   We started off with the humongous, world-famous hot cinnamon buns from Mrs. Brizzles in Sea Isle City -- words really can't describe how good these are (or how big)!

 Next, we hit Maui's Dog House in Wildwood. For $43.17 we all had hot dogs, french fries and water (tap, NOT bottled)!  Yes, Guy Fieri ate here.  No, he did not have 4 kids with him. Yes, the food was served in dog bowls.  Yes, we ordered the salty balls.  No, I probably won't go back.

 

Later, when we were walking along the Wildwood boardwalk, we sampled some Polish Water Ice, and, yep, found out that they had been featured on The Food Network!  

Although it wasn't found on the Food Network, we found a BOGO at the Slurpee station that we could not pass up.

We managed to find some other fun, before we headed back to Ocean City:

We decided to go down the beach at the end of the day, and found it to be the perfect time to enjoy the sand without the sun and all the people.  The kids had the whole ocean, and most of the beach to themselves, and I think Joy and I actually sat in a beach chair for 5 minutes!
